PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Security beyond the alarm.

Solutions for personal protection, agriculture, video alarms and safeguarding property.

PERSONAL PROTECTION

Mai Più Soli App

The smartphone app for prevention and personal safety on the move

The app supports active protection: pressing a button requests assistance from the Gecom security system, which can implement a customised action plan for any emergency. MAI PIÙ SOLI uses smartphone geolocation, camera and microphone to provide Gecom Control Centre’s licensed security guards with useful information during emergencies. It suits high-profile users such as VIPs, entrepreneurs and businesspeople, high-risk professions such as taxi drivers and representatives carrying valuable goods, vulnerable groups including older people, women and children, and anyone wanting to feel safer at all times while respecting privacy.

AGRICULTURE AND CONSTRUCTION SITES

Agricultural alarms

The agricultural and construction-site alarm protects tractors, equipment and machinery. Simple and intuitive, it protects objects of any size indoors or outdoors, and can remain armed even while people work near the protected equipment.

Protect equipment and machinery

The tractor and construction-site alarm does not detect vibration, making it highly resistant to false alarms. An alarmed chain secures objects just like a bicycle chain: thieves must cut it to steal the object. Alarms occur both when the armoured cable is cut and with significant movement, allowing intervention before theft. A single alarm protects multiple objects. The detector suits agricultural environments: it can be walked on, withstands water and dirt, and ignores vibrations caused by small animals, tractors or agricultural equipment.

Some advantages:

  • simple and self-calibrating: simply secure your property with the plastic optical-fibre cable
  • secure: it can also protect an entrance gate
  • unaffected by small movements: no false alarms from weather or small animals
  • robust: double metal-armoured optical-fibre cable suits demanding environments such as building sites
  • dependable: unlike copper cable, plastic optical fibre cannot be bypassed.

VIDEOALLARME / SECURSHOP

Video alarm: an alert supported by images.

A video alarm links an SOS or a signal from the security system to images of the event. With the connection and service specified in the design in place, an operations centre can check the situation and handle the alert according to agreed procedures.

Video surveillance and video alarm: what is the difference?

Video surveillance: it lets you observe your premises and view images or recordings, according to the functions of the chosen system.

Video alarm: it links an alarm event to images and, when a service has been arranged, to visual verification by an operations centre and handling of the alert.

Cameras alone do not activate an alarm-handling service or a connection to law enforcement. Availability, configuration, operating procedures and any costs are checked with Baldelli Sicurezza and defined in the quotation and service agreement.

STEP 1 / 4

An alert is triggered

The request can come from an SOS activated by the user, for example when facing danger, or from the intrusion alarm when the premises are closed. Activation methods are defined around your premises and requirements.

STEP 2 / 4

Images are linked to the event

The cameras and configured system associate the alert with relevant images. The transmission route, equipment and connections to be used are configured as part of the project.

STEP 3 / 4

The centre can verify the situation

When an alarm-handling service is included and active, operators can review the images and assess what is happening. In the Securshop solution described for closed premises, this check is handled by the Gecom operations centre.

STEP 4 / 4

The response procedure is followed

The alert and available information are handled according to the agreed service. Any request for intervention and involvement of law enforcement depend on the enabled connections, applicable procedures and assessment by the relevant operators.

VIDEO ALARMS

Securshop Video Alarm

The Ministry of the Interior implemented the memorandum of understanding called Anti-Robbery Video Alarm: Legality and Security.

Securshop obtained technical clearance and installed video-alarm platforms in 102 Italian provinces, at police headquarters control rooms and provincial Carabinieri command centres. They receive robbery, theft and assault alerts with images of the crime in progress. This speeds police intervention, protects the threatened person and safeguards property. The technology transmits live images to a decoder (DVR) linked to law enforcement control centres. Cameras activate following an SOS, helping an officer reach the scene as quickly as possible.

How the video alarm works

01In case of danger

In danger, Securshop activates silently. Users trigger an alarm without endangering the threatened person, and the assistance request goes to law enforcement. The SOS arrives even during deliberate interruption or a fault. Police operators receive location, number of offenders, weapons, threat type and severity, vehicle and escape-route information, including images from other users’ cameras connected to Securshop , improving emergency response and allowing vehicles to be intercepted along escape routes.

02When premises are closed

When premises are closed, an SOS from the user’s intrusion control panel activates images at Gecom SpA’s Control Centre, licensed under Article 134 of TULPS. Operators can confirm a theft attempt and send images to law enforcement control rooms, enabling a faster response informed by details of the crime.

03Cameras and image processing

Securshop’s distinctive video alarm also allows street cameras to show the entire publicly accessible frontage. Current regulations state that cameras not connected to the video alarm may film only within 50 cm of an entrance. With the video alarm, cameras can serve law enforcement around the clock for territorial monitoring. When an active user requests help for robbery, theft or attempted street assault, all active cameras within a 10-kilometre radius can be viewed on the video-alarm platforms. Encrypted image processing fully aligned with the Ministry of the Interior’s strict technical requirements offers maximum safeguards under GDPR 2016/679, the Italian Data Protection Authority’s rules and Labour Ministry and union rules on remote employee monitoring.
